What began as a small exterior wood repair revealed additional damage beneath the siding.

The homeowner initially requested replacement of damaged wood trim beneath a window and an inspection of the home’s exterior.
During the inspection, North-WoodCraft identified additional siding deterioration and evidence of animal activity. Removing the damaged materials revealed compromised waterproofing and deterioration of the concrete floor base.
The repair included restoring the sand bedding, repairing the damaged concrete section, and installing new waterproofing.
To preserve the home’s original appearance, we carefully measured and recreated the distinctive profile of the existing red cedar siding.
Custom replacement boards were fabricated and fitted to match the surrounding woodwork, maintaining the home’s architectural character.
The completed project addressed both the visible exterior damage and the underlying deterioration.
